شاركت جموع غفيرة عصر أمس الثلاثاء في تشييع جثمان الدكتور فوزي يوسف الأسمر الذي وافته المنية بتاريخ 19-9-2013 أثناء تواجده في العاصمة الأمريكية "واشنطن".
وقد انطلقت الجنازة في تمام الساعة الخامسة عصراً من كنيسة القديس جوارجيوس في مدينة اللد ثم إلى المقبرة المسيحية بمدينة اللد.
يشار إلى أن الدكتور فوزي يوسف الأسمر توفي عن عمر ناهز 76 عاماً.
تقبل التعازي بعد الجنازة مباشرة ولمدة 3 أيام في قاعة النادي الأرثوذكسي في اللد.
