أمّ جمع غفير من المصلين مسجد النور بمدينة اللد لأداء صلاة الجمعة التي كان خطيبها إمام المسجد الشيخ عادل الفار الذي تحدث في خطبته انحباس الغيث، وعن الأسباب التي تؤدي الى انقطاع المطر عن الناس.
كما وتطرق في خطبته إلى أداء صلاة الاستسقاء، وكيف أنها تقوم في البداية على التوبة من الذنوب، والصدقة واصلاح ذات البين، وختم خطبته بدعوة الناس إلى التوبة الى الله سبحانه وتعالى والمزيد من الصدقات والتقرب الى الله.
